About

Hi Dear One! I’m Navneet, an artist, Kundalini Yoga teacher and counselor. I’m dedicated to helping you find more joy and ease in your life!  Let me start by telling you about my name. My name was given to me by my spiritual teacher & means the ability to see God in everything with fresh eyes. My name offers me guidance reminding me to always look for the beauty and grace in everyone  I meet, & also in all that I experience. As a counselor and as a yoga teacher, I am always seeing the best and brightest you! My goal is to help you to also have that experience of you…clear, bright and feeling at ease.

I have been making art since I was a little girl. I love to create with my hands. It has always been a meditation for me; calming & a way for me to move out of my own way. For many years it was mostly craft- embroidery, beading, & quilting. A few years ago I fell in love with painting. I have since taken a few online courses & my practice as an artist has deepened.

For over 30 years, as a clinical social worker I have worked in an array of settings-  public child welfare system,  private agencies & on a Native American reservation. I have worked with both children, adults & families who have experienced complex trauma, anxiety, depression & substance abuse. I have supervised other clinicians for over 25 years & presented at national conferences on working with children.

I have practiced yoga for more than 20 years & became a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2008. Not unlike most people, I originally came to yoga for fitness. My practice has evolved & deepened overtime. I now view yoga as a technology for healing. It allows me to slow down, to listen deeply & find the wisdom that lies within me. It connects me to the Infinite.

I currently live in Tucson, Arizona where the sunshines almost all the time. I live with my two dogs, & my most incredible husband. We have 5 adult children & a completely adorable grandson.

Through my work, I hope to offer you the best that I have learned during this lucky life!
